Fun with Nani and Papa!

What a great weekend! Ben, Devon and I met my parents for dinner in Seattle on Valentine's Day. My mom had Friday off because of her mid-winter break and wanted to watch Devon. My parents took Devon overnight for us on Thursday and Friday night. It was so wonderful to get out! :-) (...and knowing Devon was in the best care made it so much more enjoyable, although we did miss our son like crazy!) Ben and I went to the Olive Garden Friday night and came home, put on a fire log and watched "Licensed to Wed." The movie was funny, even more since we are getting married in 6 months!! We were absolutely exhausted and woke up at 11:30 the next morning... it felt so refreshing! :-) From there, we spent the rest of the weekend in Puyallup. We went shopping, had some amazing dinners and stayed up way to late Saturday night... and all the meanwhile, Devon was an angel!

Dev was sucking on a breadstick and was just loving it! :-) It was so funny to watch him with something new! He loves Papa and Nani, especially since they spoil him rotten! :-)

Four months old!

Ben and I can't believe how much time has already passed. Devon's personality is starting to develop more and more and it's been great watching him progress. He's trully grown a mile since he was born! :) He's also getting more coordinated with his hands. Here is a picture of him sitting in his bumbo chair playing with his toys.

Our cats, especially Jake, have taken more interest in Devon in the past month than months prior. We often find Jake playing with Devon and his toys. Our other cat, Kita, doesn't seem to be as intererested, but tends to be more nurturing when she thinks no one is looking! :) Below is a picture of Jake and Devon playing together.



I thought I would add a few more pictures on here. These were taken this past week. Ben did want me to add that he ("we") is (are) not a Cincinnati Reds fan! :)

Kicks and giggles!

Devon has turned into quite the little ham over the past 3 1/2 months! He's always grinning and giggling! It has been such an incredible experience getting to watch all of his different stages. Everyday he's getting more and more fun. He just figured out he has toes! :-) Devon received a floor gym toy for Christmas and just loves it! Here are some pictures of him playing.
